My condolences to the Imperiale family.
The younger days I spent in their home, always welcomed.
Maria always with a smile for me whenever we met.
Time passes and life takes us along different paths, but I am glad that for a time in my life ours crossed.

My Dear and Beautiful Friend, Maria,
What happened to You?
I could not believe it when Tanya told me, yesterday...
I could have helped You through Prayers...
I will miss our days, more, when All three of us, You, Tanya and myself, would be at my home with my Parents and Grandma, all having a great time...
I will treasure those times, Forever...
Thank You for being Our Friend, Tanya's and myself, until we All see each other, again, in Heaven...
Give my Mommie, Daddy and Grandma big hugs for me when You see them. Tell them I Love and Miss them, with my Grandpa...
Love You, Always, my Dear Friend.
Eternal Rest Grant Unto to You, Maria, O Lord...
May The Perpetual Light Shine Upon You.
May Your Soul and All The Souls of The Faithful Departed through the Mercy of God, Rest in Peace. Amen
Love You, Maria

Maria. A kind and gentle soul. The brightest of bright lights. Time on Earth too short, but well spent. Legacy of love, kindness, and joy eternal. You have made this world, and especially our little corner of it, a better place. We carry with us flickers of your spirit. May this remind us to be the best of ourselves for the good of all. Rest In Peace.

Cousin Maria, I am so heartbroken!!You were one of kind. Always smiling and laughing(especially at Aunt Cris’s comments or remarks)generous to everyone who knew you and always there when someone needed to vent. You really were an angel in disguise and now you have become an angel in heaven. You will be greatly missed but never forgotten! Saying goodbye is so painful for me, but knowing you aren’t in pain anymore helps a little with the pain. I love you so much cousin Maria always and forever. Love, Little Maria

Oi Marie-if I knew Super Bowl Sunday was the last time I was going to spend with you…I would have never left your side. You’ll always be my best friend, I’ll always love and miss you…I can’t see my life without you there-our dinner get togethers with Susanna, Lynn, Cristina, Paula, and Melissa, and anyone else that’s joined us, will miss you there, but they will go on…and we will set a spot for you. We been there together for all of our ups and downs over a lot of years-our high school times with Evelyn were historic…the 3 of us were always together. Life was good together, with everyone in it-and you will still be alive in all of us, we will never forget. Your mom recently commanded us to get our plots together -I guess I gotta go get mine next to you now …so the laughs will never stop-Tua sorella sempre

Hello Love. That’s how we started every text, email or card I send you. As I’m typing, I can’t help but cry. It doesn’t feel real. You’re “Cousin” Maria. The one and only. There will never be another. I can’t say I understand any of this, because I don’t. I can only say how I feel. I’m hurt, heartbroken, confused, shocked and lost. I may live far away and life gets tricky, but my heart is always with you. Our texts and Facebook posts let us still be in touch. When I came to visit, you always made time for me. I can still hear your voice, the sound of your laugh, the smell of your perfume and even the smell of your hair. I loved your hair. I can still remember visiting Port Washington with Mommy, Daddy and Maria almost every Sunday. It was like our favorite thing to do when we were little. Maria and I would wait in your room, so excited for you to come home. We watched MTV and VH1 on your TV. There are so many memories from doing my nails, taking me to get a haircut from a beautiful Port Washington salon, trying to help me overcome my fear of driving, all your generous gifts, staying late to do my nails the night before my wedding, letting me borrow your earrings, just hanging out and more. You always made me smile and I’m sure others too. Your kind heart and beautiful soul made everyone feel happy. You were an Angel here and now you earned your wings. I love you with all my heart. Ciao, Love. Your Adriana

Maria,
I am so incredibly sad that you have left this world. I was lucky enough to spend lots of time with you as I grew up with Mikey, Marco, and Mario. I was always excited to see you at family gatherings in Aunt Linda's backyard and at your mom and dad's house. You always lit up a room or a party with your infectious laughter and beautiful smile. Every memory I have of you is a happy one; you were always radiating positivity and joy. What stands out most to me though is how incredibly kind you were and how much people enjoyed your company. I wish I had told you all of these things when I had the chance. I love you so much and miss you dearly, and I will do my best to practice kindness in your memory. It was an honor to have known you, beautiful Maria.

Maria.. this feels surreal. A piece of me goes with you. Our memories together are priceless. Many nights and days laughing hysterically at stupid things we did together. We were like Lucy and Ethel. I'm not ready to let you go but I know God has you and I have to let go. This hurts so much but the little peace I can find in this loss is that you are free of all pain. I'll love you forever ❤️Angela

Bella Maria - I have such fond memories of you being one of my first friends after moving to Long Island. Walking to school every day laughing and goofing around. Your laugh was infectious. While we did not keep in touch through the years, every time I saw you it was like no time had passed. You are one of the kindest people I have ever known. The world will not be the same without you in it. It was my privilege to have known you. With love, Courtney

My dear friend Maria- loved and cherished by so many. She made everyone laugh especially when we were with our friend Mona. The laughing was endless as we recalled funny memories from our younger days. We all go way back and I don’t think I’ve ever met someone as kind and generous as Maria. She answered every text, every phone call to listen or just say hey. She was there if you needed a favor. She was there to celebrate a life event. Friday night dinners will not be the same without her. I am grateful to have known her all these years and call her friend. Love you and miss you Maria. ❤️ Our hearts are broken but Heaven has a beautiful angel. May you Rest In Peace. Love, Susanna

My friend Maria, we met back in elementary school and we had a special friendships from day one. We lived a few streets away from each other in Manorhaven, so we spent lots of time together. When I moved away our paths always crossed. I loved seeing you and your beautiful smile. You always would say to me we were meant to be friends. Later in life we reconnected again when I married my husband who is related to you. When we saw each other we said now we are not just friends we are family ❤ I will miss you dearly. Your Friend Always, Felicia Flynn
