There is so much to say of the fifty years of working together, a few lines can never express the regards and respect for my dear Mario. Mario was a man of exceptional qualities, and was an exemplary light in every area of his life. As a husband, as a loving father, as a colleague, as a physician, he excelled. He was very close to me and I loved him dearly.

We hope this finds you comforting in the midst of all the complexities that life throws on us.
May your family find comfort and solace that your dad (Uncle Mario) had lived a long and beautiful life here on earth. He made lasting memories in celebrating life’s milestones that now you all cherish and hold on into your hearts. We believe that he had taught us lessons to better ourselves. He had showed us to live life and make a difference to those we meet each day. His jolly, helpful, generous and gregarious nature will be treasured and remembered by many.
We are very thankful to have met and known him.
“Heaven gained another angel”……
His legacy lives in all of us and will be treasured forever!
On behalf of our family, I would like to express our profound condolences and sincerest sympathy to you and to the whole family during this difficult and trying times. We will keep you in our prayers. God bless.
Warmest regards,
Jojo, Lorraine, Aldrich and Ayra

I will always remember Uncle Mario’s happy and cheerful disposition, his kind smile, and how he affectionately sings “Dahil Sa ‘Yo” to Aunt Helen.
Our future visits to New York City will never be the same.
Rest in eternal peace Uncle Mario.

I remember Mario very well. He was a good surgeon, a real gentleman and a kind soul. He welcomed me with open arms to the Kings Highway family and was instrumental in getting me accepted into the staff of the hospital. Though we lost touch after he retired, I will have fond memories and will miss him very much.

When it comes to the medical profession, it’s not often that you find someone as brilliant and skilled as he is kind and caring, but that is exactly who Mario was. Max used to tell us that Mario had “gifted hands” when it came to surgery, but the thing that first drew Max to Mario was that perennial twinkle in his eye. When Max and Mario joined forces, it was as if it was always meant to be. Max used to say that Mario was not just his partner — he was his brother. And that is exactly how Max and Mario felt about each other from Day One. They loved each other from the day they met and the hours they spent in the Operating Room were outdone only by the hours of laughter they shared outside of it. There is no twosome who laughed harder and loved more than when Max and Mario were together. I’d like to think that Max and Mario are finally reunited up there — beaming once again at their good fortune of finding each other. Two brothers finding their way back to the magical alliance that began over fifty years ago.
Rest In Peace, sweet Mario. You were very much loved by the entire Felton Family.
Sending our deepest condolences to Helen, Joanne and Shelley. We are holding you all in our hearts.

His laugh was infectious as was his smile. We will never forget him practicing casting with a fly fishing pole in our pool. He was excited and laughing the whole time. We just smile too when thinking of him.
