Gene will be greatly missed. As we both were long time members of the Sands Point Club, Gene somehow knew me, by my maiden name 'Chick". He, Myra and the their children lived around the block from my family on 136th st., Belle Harbor, shared the fence to our backyards [me, 137th street, Belle Harbor], in Belle Harbor, Queens. He knew my parents quite well and to me that was family .. Every time we'd see each other, he yell out, Hi Chick. [My father was also called 'Chick'. As my parents are gone for sometime, Gene always reminded me of our shared history , being the only one in Sands Point that had known my family. He is part of my shared memories with he, his humor and quick wit and his gorgeous star of a wife, Myra , they will be greatly missed ..Thank you for all the good times and memories Gene, rest in Peace!

Gene was half of a wonderful team of Myra and Gene. We LOVED the stories they shared of how they met and started their lives together. They were part of our extended family here at the beach in Hollywood. We have been good friends for 23 years. We grew very close through the years as we attended the Miami Open Tennis Tournaments on Key Biscayne together. Even after Myra passed Steve and Gene spoke often during and after each major tennis tournament. Myra and Steve shared a close theatre bond both coming from a theatrical professional background. Gene invited us to Sands Point to visit him at his home on our honeymoon in 2015 . He was impressed that Dwight and I have shared 47 years together! Gene has been a loving member of our extended family and he will be missed and remembered with love and respect. We send our prayers to the entire family during this loss and he will always be remembered for his kindness and wonderful humor and friendship.
