Denise, enjoy eternal rest in Heaven as your reward. Among your many talents, you were always a good friend. I'll always remember the laughs we shared and some great conversations from growing up on Linwood Street all the way through to our high school years and our late 20s going to work downtown Manhattan. You were truly a blessing in my life when things were at a low point for me. You'll be forever in my thoughts and prayers, as an unforgettable personality. The neighborhood truly produced some quality people. Rest forever in peace, my friend.

Remembering you today and sending heavenly hugs, as today 43 years ago, we were driving home from Great Adventure when we heard of the passing of Thurmon Munson. We cried all the way home. Now I cry for you. Rest peacefully in paradise. Until we meet again. Your forever friend, Donna

“Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure,
You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.”
I will miss your smile that would light up a room and the endless sports conversations we had. Thank you for being an amazing aunt and a member of my cheering section. I will always remember how proud you were of me, your nephew the CPA.
Love always,
John III

My condolences to the entire Bekiaris family for the loss of a strong and brave woman. Mrs. Bekiaris was introduced to me during another relative of hers, and a close friend of mine was battling cancer. Her bravery and unremitting attention and care to her family member embodied the most important characteristics. She was always a great conversationalist and sounding board who championed greatness for her family and friends. God Bless her and much love and care for her close friends and family.

My Dear Aunt Denise,
“So when tomorrow starts without me don’t think we’re far apart. For every time you think of me I’m right here in your heart.” – David M. Romano
I know you will always be near because you always loved your family so much. I will forever miss our phone conversations and text messages. I will always think of the memories I have with you like staying over your house or just talking on the phone about movies, shows, or just anything. You were always so caring and loved me unconditionally. I will miss your messages and just how you always told us you loved us. I am beyond sad that we will not see your happy smile anymore.
You will forever be in my heart. <3
Love your niece,
Jillian

My aunt was such an amazing person and there are no words to describe her properly...
She had a big smile, and an even bigger heart who saw the good in everyone. She never forgot to call me for a single birthday and always sent me an amazing birthday card....
I am going to miss our longer phone conversations about life, sports, the world and how she always knew how to say the right things to make you feel confident.
She was one of a kind! The apple does not fall far from the tree.

Denise and I both loved The Beatles. Their songs were, in many ways the soundtrack of our lives.
A favorite that we shared was "In My Life".
I would like to share a line from that song, that expresses how I feel about my special sister in law that I love and miss.
“Though I know I'll never lose affection for people and things that went before, I know I'll often stop and think about them, in my life I'll love you more.”
