From our earliest days Jimmy was the brother I never had. Sleepover’s at Aunt Winnie’s; the boys club in Astoria; College Point park on weekends; CCD dances at Mt Carmel; Wednesday 1/2 days at Cousin Joan’s with sandwiches from Blankeys; The Ellen Dale Cottage with so many memories; drinking at Lavin’s; weddings, parties and on and on; Belmont race track in June; Saratoga in August handicapping (via text) each race; the last few months when we texted each week. Jim with his whimsical sense of humor will always be remembered and sorely missed. Love Peter and Rosemary

The first words that come to mind about Jim are that he was a good person, always a gentleman, always kind and considerate to others. His passing is a loss to all who knew or met him. Above all, a great loss to his family. What a sense of humor Jim had! Jim's laugh - and smile - lit up the room. PS Jim, A high five to St. Peter at the Pearly gates. If anyone is going to heaven, it's you. We will always miss you, Jim, and you will always be in our hearts . Love, Ken and Frances
