Dear Martha and Joe's family, our deepest condolences to all. Today my son Brian asked me to look for Joe's email to send him his wedding invitation . He was our landlord and our children grew up with Joe. So sad to find out he's not here. We will always remember him with a smile. We'll surely miss him.

My sincerest condolences to Martha and the Brincat family. We met in the first grade in St. Leo’s and for 8 years he was always the smartest kid in class. We recently reconnected when they came to a show I performed in in NYC and had a lovely reunion. Very sad to hear of his sudden passing.

My fondest and most vivid memories of school are Mr. Brincat’s 4 grade classroom. Field trips every month! What a fun, kind, wonderful and good spirited person he was. This world would be a better place if more people were like him. I’m 40 now and still talk about how much I loved you as a teacher. You will definitely be remembered. My sincerest condolences to the family.

From the Sicari family, I offer our deepest condolences.
Mr. Brincat had a smile and a personality that brightened so many peoples' day.
My brothers Dominic and Andrew and I were some of his earliest students, and I remember him as easy going and approachable.
Always my first Christmas card. So glad we were able to benefit from his gift of teaching. His light won't be dimming any time soon, the way he befriended and kept in touch with so many.
May he rest in peace, and may you, Martha, be always comforted by so many wonderful memories of your adventures.

Our friendship started nearly 60 years ago when we first met in kindergarten. We just texted each other Saturday, reminiscing about Gloria Pizza in Flushing and Eddie’s hot dogs in Corona where we grew up. You’ve been a blessing in my life and will be dearly missed. May God wrap His arms around you and comfort you in Heaven.

I am heartbroken. When I was in elementary school Mr. And Mrs. Brincat were the teachers that brightened up my day. My deepest condolences and know that I will always remember how awesome of a teacher and human being Mr. Brincat is.

Through the years...
"I can't remember what I used to do
Who I trusted, whom I listened to before
I swear you've taught me everything I know
Can't imagine needing someone so
But through the years it seems to me
I need you more and more
Through the years, through all the good and bad
I knew how much we had, I've always been so glad
To be with you ... through the years"
Joe B. what a man you were! The patience of a saint to teach children at an age when they really didn't want to be taught. You taught us to sing that song to our parents at graduation.
How many pink slips you wrote up but never turned in. Playing music for us - good old Kenny Rogers!
Then you befriended so many of us outside of school and our families. I know my mother was very glad for your friendship and the time you spent together. I remember hanging with you at George's wedding, so many laughs and what a great one you had!
The first birthday card I got every year and Christmas card too!
My deepest sympathies and condolences Martha.
Rest in peace, your loss is something the world will notice, but your work is done. You have touched so many people and your memory will carry on.
"And somewhere in the darkness the gambler, he broke even
But in his final words I found an ace that I could keep"
