Art was a student along with my husband Benjamin Antonellis at UVM. Art was instrumental in assisting Ben being accepted into dental school at Georgetown dental school. Years later they reconnected. Both enjoyed cooking together their fabulous Italian meals. Art shared his wonderful love of life with everyone. He will be missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. Andrea will always be in my thoughts and prayers. Well done dear friend and human who gave so much.

Dr Adamo was one of the finest clinicians I have been priviledged to know and work with. He loved to teach and mentor young doctors opening doors and making connections for them. He followed their careers and found ways to honor and promote their work. He was generous in all respects with his time, sharing his knowledge and writing checks to our hospital auxiliary. He loved America and Israel was a close second proudly wearing both flags on his lapel. He was an innovative surgeon always searching for the best techniques and equipment. He turned lives around for example helping a young girl from Afganistan who came to us being able to only swollow 1 grain of rice gain the full use of her mouth. He was the consumate team builder working with his colleagues in plastic and neurosurgery. He was so proud of his wife and the care she provided to the same youngster for so many years. Our connection at work grew stronger over the years yet as busy as he was he always find time to ask about family and and how my daughter Leilani was doing even years after he removed all 4 of her wisdom teeth. Yes he was never too busy for the little things in life. Best wishes to Andrea who will hopefully find comfort knowing she was the love of his life with or without red hair. Hannah M. Nelson

Harriet Schloemer lit a candle

My memories are many from a teenager to a mature women. - fun, fun good Ol' St. Kevins!!! in the early days of our friendship together, sadden days when George died so young, and then years of communication between Artie and me regarding our families. It was wonderful keeping in touch with people so far back in our lifetime. I will miss his Christmas letters updating me on the family - I knew Hunter also but not near like Art and his accomplished "cooking skills". So sorry to hear of his passing and I send my sincerest condolences to the family. - glad he led a joyous life with Andrea, and his loving family.
