Harold J. Schneck

January 22, 1941 - February 20, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harold J. Schneck, beloved husband, father and grandfather ("Baba"). Harold passed peacefully, surrounded by family, on February 20, 2023.

A true family man, Harold was a devoted husband to his wife, Catherine, for 46 years and a loving father to his daughter, Roseann, as well as his son-in-law, Kyle. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Amelia, Mary and Kyle, Jr. will always have fond memories of their "Baba" attending all of their sporting events, concerts, Grandparents Day at school, and Holidays. 

Whether it be sailing his boats out of Brooklyn waters, watching his grandchildren play their favorite sport, or playing with his granddogs, Ted and Oscar, Harold was never happier than when surrounded by loved ones. He will be deeply missed by his family, including his devoted sister Rose Ann, as well as countless friends. Harold was a generous and loyal friend, maintaining lifelong friendships to those blessed enough to know him. Harold leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, generosity, kindness and laughter. He will be sorely missed.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 1-5PM at Fairchild Sons Funeral Chapel in Manhasset (1570 Northern Blvd. 516-627-2000).
