Obituary of Jane R. Singer

Jane R Singer passed away peacefully, on February 26, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 25, 1933 in Astoria, NY to William and Sophie Rabbitt. She met Richard J. Singer while working at New York Life Insurance Company and they married in 1953. She was the beloved wife of Richard, loving mother to daughters Lorie and Susan Ethier, Son-in-law, Jean-Claude Ethier, beloved Grandma to Timothy, Kaitlin and Alexander Ethier. And Great Grandma to Felix Ethier.

Jane worked at several market research companies after her children were grown. She loved music and dancing and exploring different places. She and Richard traveled to numerous distant destinations. She also was a frequent visitor to the High Line-one of her favorite places in New York City. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family-particularly in her beautiful backyard.

She will be missed by her family and friends.
