Obituary of Anne Marie Jessen

Anne Marie Jessen of Port Washington, passed away peacefully on October 13th, 2023, at the age of 94.

Beloved Mother of Barbara (Kevin), pre deceased by her son William (Amy), Douglas (Sheri), and Steven. Loving sister of the late Barbara, and her youngest sister Carole. “Mema” was treasured by her grandchildren Heather, Demi, Ryan, Daniel, Alyssa, Brian, Erin, and Megan. Also, survived by her great grandchildren, Kaisley, Elijah, Judah, June, Nora, Trent, Ayden, Benji, Miles, Raegan, Scarlet, Cameron, Leo, and Lyla.

Anne loved attending her grandchildren’s school & sporting events. Anne was loved by her niece Amy and nephew John, as well as many friends. Anne loved Port Washington and volunteered for many organizations such as Cancer Care, The Columbiettes, The Make A Wish Foundation. She sang and danced in many Red Stocking Revue Productions. Anne will be missed by all!!

Visitation will be at Fairchild Sons Funeral Hom in Manhasset on Thursday, October 26th from 4-7pm. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, October 27th at 11:00am at St Peter’s in Port Washington. Burial immediately following at Mount St Mary’s Cemetery in Flushing.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cancer Care and Lion’s Club, both of Port Washington.
