I have known Lorraine and her family since 1958, we lived in the same building on Bridge street in Brooklyn.
We attended St James and Prospect Heights and graduated together in 1967.
I remember we attended dances at St James and her mom would always pick us up to be sure we got home safe. Although we have lost touch over the years, childhood friends and happy memories we always be remembered.

Dear Elissa, we're so sorry for your loss. Lorraine, your beautiful mother, was such a kind and loving person, always welcoming with a big smile and warm hugs. We still can't believe that she's resting eternally. Words can't express our love and condolences.
Lots of hugs, Dad and Shuyan

It is beyond tough to think that Lorraine is not here with us. However, It is so comforting to know she is at peace and with the Lord.
The way she said my name will echo in my heart forever…Cri’tina’!
With open arms, love, and acceptance of a mother‘s heart her warm smile and tender loving care, always welcomed me. The sweet and simple memories of us dancing in her living room will always warm my heart.
Your light shined from the inside out. Truly missed , always remembered, and dearly loved.

Lorraine, I remembered us at St James School selling candies in the school yard during our lunch time. We had such good times as adolescents during school. It was a good thing that we all met again at the same school we graduated from, “St James Reunion” and it brought us back together to reminisce the old good old days. We will miss you!

Broken hearted to hear of the passing of my beautiful and dear friend Lorraine Rios Veve. We shared the experience of the Salsa boom in New York back in the early 70’s.
We loved going to clubs to dance to our favorite Salsa bands. Lorraine’s favorite was Larry Harlow and I Ray Barretto.
She also participated in an organization I launched PROLAM “ Puerto Rican Organization for Latin American Music”.
Lorraine and I at that time collected signatures on a petition for the purpose of seeking recognition for Latin American Music Artist. Because the genre we now call “Salsa” was at that time labeled unpopular. We also, organized free out door concerts in NYC Central Park and promoted the music to larger audiences. Lorraine was a special friend to me. She had the most sweetest, loving personality and was a great friend; so Although, we went on our own paths in life, we always managed to stayed in contact. I will miss her and cherish the friendship and memories we shared forever.
Rest In Heavenly Peace,
M

To my beautiful Gama Titi,
It took me awhile to write this because I didn’t know how to begin and wouldn’t know how to end it. But then I realize that you will forever be apart of my life. Just being next to you, I could feel the love and radiance that reflected off from you.
Elissa and Sarita both have the same soft spoken voice while Eric has your kind soul. You have left behind the best parts of you to remind us you’re by our side.
I’ll never forget how every year on my bday, you gave me a check with the same amount of money to my age and a Dollar bill (for good luck). Another funny memory was that you were always prepared in case of emergency making sure you had clean underwear and lipstick nearby.
You will always be in my heart. I will always remember your breathtaking smile that always put a smile on my face. My love for you will always be forever. Until we meet again in the Heavens, I love you dearly.
Your Goddaughter,
Sunday Lorraine O’Neill-Campbell

I know this time will be numbing and I don’t have sage advice to offer… but perhaps to listen to your mom’s friends and family share the memories they hold dear. Those stories are what I remember most about my mom’s passing.

Your text about Lorraine's passing really surprised me especially since I had a dream about her last week. Don't ask me what the dream was about because all I remembered were two things, she looked exactly like the picture you sent me and her laugh, which I remember was a high pitched laugh. She was such a sweet person. I know you were very close to her. I'm so sorry for your loss of such a good friend.

Wow!
I can't believe Lorraine has passed! She was the epitomy of sweet, beautiful, fun-loving and what we know NICE to be with. We go back over 60 years, and in all that time, both before and after she became my sister-in-law, Lorraine was Lorraine. She never changed and that was a good thing. We met through Diana Rodriguez (O'Neill) at a wonderful time: We were kids together, grew up through our elementary school years, and enjoyed the ole' Farragut neighborhood with Diana, Evelyn (Green Eyes), the Riveras, the Vargases, the Gomez's and the Hills. We moved away but later connected as a teenagers and then as adults, when she married my brother. Lorriane and her "sisters" all stood out but Lorraine became the constant until she passed: constantly beautiful, fun, always sweet and never negative. There are memories to cherish and make me smile; all of them better because they were shared with Lorraine. She was one great lady who I will miss tremendously.

Dear Elissa,
It’s in moments like these that my words fall short. I hope you know how much love I had for Lorraine and your entire family. They meant the world to me! I miss them more than words could ever say. I know that together, they will look after you and your beautiful family.
You are your mother’s, grandmother’s, grandfather’s, and uncle’s dream come true. They are all so proud of you. They always spoke of you glowingly, and we all know why. It’s because you embody everything that is love.
Lorraine's Wake was filled with loving memories. I will never forget her smile, kindness, and graceful salsa moves! You thoughtfully celebrated her life. She left this world to be with her family first class! We are all so proud of you!
I remember your uncle saying that he always wanted to make sure that each New Year, he wanted to spend it holding you in his arms.
He loved you so much!
May you continue to bless those around you.

TRIBUTE TO MY SPECIAL FRIEND/SISTER LORRAINE
LORRAINE & I, SHARED A SPECIAL BOND, SINCE WE MET AT THE AGE OF 13. THERE ARE ENDLESS MEMORABLE TIMES, WE ENJOYED TOGETHER. OUR TEENAGE YEARS. We WERE FILLED WITH OUR SOCIALIZING & PARTICIPATING AT ST. JAMES'S FUNCTIONS & DANCES.
ABOVE ALL, OUR TALENT SHOWS SINGING PERFORMANCES, WITH OUR OTHER DEAREST FRIEND/SISTER DIANA. ALSO, ST. ANN'S CHURCH TALENT SHOW IN 1964, WAS AN UNFORGETABLE PERFORMANCE. WE WERE SO HAPPY & PROUD OF EACH OTHER!
ESPECIALLY, AFTER THE TREMENDOUS
APPLAUSE WE REVEIVED FROM THE CROWDED AUDIENCE!
ANOTHER AWESOME TIME LORRAINE & I,
WENT TO OUR PUERTO RICO TRIP TOGETHER. WE STAYED AT MY COUSIN'S HM. IN SAN JUAN. WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME, EVEN DANCED SEVERAL NIGHTS AT A GREAT CLUB, "CORKY'S".
AS WE GOT OLDER, WE ALSO LOVED DANCING TO
GREAT SALSA MUSIC AT SEVERAL LOCATIONS.
EVENTUALLY, I PARTED WAYS, MOVING BRIEFLY TO PUERTO RICO.
HOWEVER, WE KEPT IN CONTACT UNTIL I RETURNED TO NEW YORK.
ULTIMATELY, LORRAINE PURSUED WITH HER LIFE IN NEWBURGH.
AS YEARS PASSED, SHE WOULD SEND ME PICTURES OF HER LOVING GRANDCHILDREN, WHICH I DEEPLY LOVED HER SHARING. WE
REMAINED TO HOLD EACH OTHER CLOSE TO OUR HEARTS, EVEN NOW.
REST IN EVERLASTING PEACE.
I LOVE YOU, MY SPECIAL FRIEND/SISTER.

My first time knowing who Lorraine was.
When I first noticed Lorraine walking with
Diana Rodriguez and Evelyn Rodriguez, I asked Al who
was his friend? Who was that good looking girl walking with Diana and Evelyn? Al said that's my sister, I said to myself that's the prettiest girl I have ever seen in my life. When I was finally introduced to Lorraine, she was so kind and made me feel like I already knew her. Every-time I saw her after that she always said hello. She wasn't like other pretty girls, they thought they were too good for you, not Lorraine. Later on I was able to have the opportunity to dance a mambo at one of the dances’ at St. James. She was a smooth dancer. Every guy wanted to dance with her and she never turned anyone down. That's when I knew she is not like other girl. She was special. I grew to love Lorraine, through the years for her beautiful disposition. Even after not seeing her for years, she remained the same person as always, so sweet.
It hurt me immensely to here she was very sick. Now my heart has a piece of it missing with her being called home to be with her family and God.
I was at her funeral and found myself standing in front of a grave, with Albert Rios JR. name on it. Then it hit me that we lost a whole family today. I know this family is in heaven, God has reunited them in his Kingdom. RIP RIOS FAMILY RIP.
We love you,
Jimmy n Celenia

I will miss you, Sweet Lorraine. You have been the most graceful, gracious, warm, sweet and uniquely beautiful person I will likely ever know. You came into our lives over 50 years ago and quickly won us over with your sweet hello and endearing smile. I remember how you filled the room with the energy of your presence. Of course, you first impressed me with your natural beauty-the incredible hair, big brown-black eyes, pretty white smile, and a rump to die for. More importantly, you won me over with your sweet, gentle and fun-loving personality. I was excited to be with you and soon imagined you as what an older sister could have been for me. You were genuine in your care, often involving me in “girl talk” and seeking ways to keep us close when others might not have. You immediately made me one of your sisters by asking me to be in your wedding and continued to treat me like a sister throughout our lives. That was your grace-to keep us close and keep smiling, even when smiling had to be hard. Graciously and thoughtfully, you always showed us your quiet love, sending cards and making calls to let us know you cared. I smile when I think that yours was usually the first card for a birthday and for Christmas. Many of us forever will be reminded of your absence; and then, we will smile at the thought of your cards when we receive others first in the future.
And I will never, ever forget how wonderful you were with my mother, who you called “Mom” and treated her as such. You made sure she remembered your love with visits, calls, cards, and thoughtful little presents to wish her a Happy Birthday and Happy Mother’s Day. Together, we remembered that you brought your parents and Tonita to see her and my father at a difficult and lonely time, created by the distance from many people during my father’s illness. After she became more forgetful and her memory began to fail her, she would remember you when I showed her a picture or when I could say Lorraine is calling. She would smile and reach for the phone because she remembered. She remembered, like many will always remember, your sweet and gentle nature.
In your thoughtful and deliberate actions, Lorraine, you have modeled that gentleness and small acts of kindness and caring; they are positive and powerful energies. I will miss that energy. I will miss that smile; I will miss that gusto for life that very few have like you. Although you had big losses in your life; although you had big changes in your life that would have brought others pessimism and melancholy, you modeled instead kindness, strength and a positive attitude. You will live on in the blessing of mutual memories you left with the many family and friends who you touched. Thank you, Lorraine. I love you always and forever will keep you in my heart. Maggie

We come together to celebrate the incredible life and legacy of Lorraine—a beautiful soul who brought so much light into life. I'm here to cherish the inspiration she left me with.
Lorraine was like my personal sunshine, spreading optimism and warmth wherever she went. Her thoughtfulness and grace weren't just traits; they were the essence of who she was. In a world that can sometimes feel heavy, Lorraine had this incredible ability to lift my spirits with a simple act of kindness or even just her smile.
Her laughter was infectious, a soundtrack to my memories that still plays in my mind. Lorraine's beauty wasn't just skin deep; it was a reflection of the love she carried within.
As I navigate life without her physical presence, I find comfort in the belief that Lorraine has become my guardian angel. Her love continues to guide me, a beacon of light in the midst of my journey. Although I miss having her around, I'm inspired by the lasting impact she's had on my life.
Lorraine's legacy isn't about dwelling on sorrow; it's an invitation to embrace her positive spirit. I'll carry forward the torch of thoughtfulness, grace, and boundless love she lit for me. In a world that can use a bit more kindness, I'll make sure her influence continues to shine.
Rest in peace, Lorraine, my forever young and inspiring guardian angel. Your absence is felt, but your legacy pushes me to create a world filled with grace, kindness, and a dash of that enduring optimism you always shared with me.
I love you always.

From the left is Lorraine Rios, Pamela Cartagena, Mercedes Ortega, myself, Diane O'Neill and seated is Angie Charriez. We shared fun times together with Lorraine and her laughter always had us going!
We will miss Lorraine at our get togethers especially on our ReUnions at St James.

All these years, I thought Lorraine was my aunt Diana’s cousin, but come to find out, they were actually Best Friends!! I remember her at all the family gatherings. I’m going to miss her beautiful smile and unforgettable dimples; her soft voice and her loving embraces; her luscious dark locks and her cute trendy outfits. This was a big loss for our family but I am confident she is with an amazing group of angels that are watching over us. Until meet again Lorraine.

A mother’s love is always with her children. Losing a mother is the deepest sorrows a heart can know for I know that feeling too but her goodness, her caring and her wisdom live on like a legacy of love that will always be with all of you. May that love surround all of you now and bring peace.

Titi Lorraine,
You have always been there for me. When I was in my worse days of my life and through some of my darkest doomiest days, you were there. You were there with every fiber of your being, just loving me even when I became the worst version of myself and I should have been exiled. You never saw me or felt any different towards me, you always knew who I was but yet you cared for me regardless.
I absolutely adored you as a young child, I idolized you. I realize it's always been the feeling I've been reaching for, I always felt so loved and protected by you. I can even go as far as I definitely had one of those weird innocent human nature crush on you. I learned later ON, as I got older that You weren’t my Titi by blood but you DEFINITELY was one of My Titis.
Titi Lorraine, you were always beautiful but the more accurate descriptive word has to be RADIANT. I feel your endless Love and spirit surrounding me and filling me with the best feelings of Peace, Calm, and Tranquility.
I remember going to the city park pool, I remember going to Puerto Rico, I remember the projects and also upstate New York, wherever we went with you, we had a great time! I remember the Crew of females from my recollection besides you Titi, obviously of course my mom Diana, Evelyn, Elaine and Tati.
May you Rest in Peace you beautiful soul. I'm so going to miss you, especially your laughter. I know we'll be together again, I know I will see you again.
Rest In Gods Grace until………

I remember first hearing about Lorraine from Diana Rodriguez-Oneill, who would "light up" when mentioning her name. I knew of her brother, Al. I was much younger then. Have you ever met someone who everytime he'd run into you, he didn't hold back his joy? He was always very welcoming! But I finally got the chance to meet his sister Lorraine one Sunday morning after church, less than two years ago. She had an immediate sweetness. Warm. Like her brother, welcoming. Our conversation was brief, but it left an unforgettable impression on me. Diana had kept me abreast of her sudden health woes. After much prayer, I still found out that Lorraine had passed from this life. I only had those 15 min of sharing that Sun morning, and here I was broken with sadness!! It was something I didn't want to hear. That day, matched my mood. The day was gray, gloomy, cold - perfect for feeling down. Yet, a verse from the Word "spoke" to me in my thoughts - that we as believers in Christ, we 'are not to sorrow as those who have no hope." Yes, humanly, we are definitely SAD, and will miss...but there is that hope we have - the REAL resurrection! She is having her "first tastes" of an unimaginable glory! Thinking of her, I will treasure and be reminded of this verse: 'but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.
1 Peter 3:4
May the Spirit of our compassionate Lord carry her loved ones during this very tough time. No more pain or ICU's ever again!
Sincerely, Mark Hill

My dearest Tita,
I have no words, yet so many to express what I feel inside of my being!! This is not about me, it’s about what’s missing inside of me… YOU!!
I have lost so many Family n Friends in my lifetime who went into the Kingdom of God but this loss is different! This loss took a part of my heart. Lorraine, you were always with me even though we lived miles away from each other after we had our beautiful babies. We were like peanut butter n jelly, rice n beans and twins. One of us wasn’t right without the other!!! We were Soul mates from the beginning when God spoke us into Being.
I cannot express how I feel about you going home to the Lord. All I know, is that God sent you to this earth as a Walking Angel. We were blessed that we both were able to go on living and loving each other while reflecting and sharing our love of God with everyone around us.
I’m being humble In saying that we never disagreed on anything unless it was going to hurt one of us, we had to bring it out in the open.
Lorraine, you have been an inspirational being. Everyone has said you are a whisperer; speaking in a low tone so everyone could hear you. You would listen to everyone as they vented, without judgement. You were charismatic and selfless no matter what you were going through. You were always smiling and your smile was a reflection of a bright light which brightened everyone’s day. Your laughter always made my day. We would laugh together like no one else was in this world and it lasted FOREVER!!
It will take me time to process this loss.
I don’t know how else to accept you going away but just to be still and let God guide me. For each tear that comes out of my eyes is a Memory of our Good times. Our bad times were described as a good time because we were able to process them together!
All this to say that My Tita, My Soul Mate, My Angel, My Lorraine you have gone to
The Heavenly Realm. Surely, you are still Lorraine without the Body, you are still the same with your Spiritual Body.
Lorraine, I love you so much and I will see your Spirit soon though I know you’re next to all of us!!!
I WILL ALWAYS BE CLOSE TO YOU!
I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU, for you are
My Soul Mate Forever!!!

I never thought I would have to say goodbye. You were such a beautiful soul. You taught me so much about what it meant to be a single mom, being selfless and loving and was who I wanted be. Twenty-eight years later you taught me again and inspired me to be the best Nonna to my little grandbabies. Eric and Sara were so lucky to have you. I loved watching you light up when you talked about them and showing me Sara’s Christmas outfits you bought over the years. The sheer joy in your face said it all. I’m so happy I was able to spend so much time with you these last few years… I will miss all your stories and little beauty tips. In thirty eight years I’ve never seen you with a hair out of place. I will think of you with every blowout I get and every lipstick application. You taught me to always look my best and keep dancing. I will miss you and promise to always take care of your girl. My first memory and interaction with Lorraine goes back to the day she first visited our house in Modena, NY with our and her lifelong family friend Diana Rodriguez in the early 1970's... WOW! What a beautiful smile; Sparkling dark eyes; Jet-black hair; Soft spoken pleasing voice; Affectionate, embracing, caring personality! What a "Classie Lady" I thought! From that day and over many wonderful gatherings throughout the last 50+ years, including our last visit in June at Maggie's 70th, she still, always somehow managed to be that very same person, welcomed into our family so many years ago; almost age-less; always smiling; affectionate; positive; compassionate; very well presented; regardless of the challenges she herself was going through! She will definitely be missed by me and everyone who had the opportunity to experience her genuinely heartfelt greetings, beautiful smile, excitable affection and the warm embraces of her hello's and good bye's!! She was an extremely loving caring mom, Grandma, mother-in-law and also my forever sister-in-law! Rest in peace Lorraine! Love for you always! Eric...

Where to begin?… Lorraine came into my life when she started dating my older brother. She was 8 years my senior, and I watched in awe as she dressed for nights out dancing. (She was a wonderful dancer!) She became a part of our family when she married my brother, and now 50+ years and countless family gatherings later - she will always be part of our lives. She raised a wonderful daughter with unconditional love and support - it was her nature. As everyone who knew her will attest, she was a warm, loving, sweet soul, and it all radiated through her beautiful smile. It’s with a heavy heart and a deep sigh that we say goodbye. Lorraine was an incredible mom and grandmother. We first met Lorraine when my daughter Kailey and Sara were 2 years old at pre-k and through her amazing nature to make strangers feel like friends, Kailey and Sara have been best friends since that day and our families forever bonded. Kailey and Lorraine also shared the same birthday, June 27th. Kailey will always have beautiful memories of times spent together with Gama but especially around their birthdays. That was very special. Her love for her family and friends was evident in who she was and everything she did. She loved to talk about Elissa, Sara, Eric and Marc, family and friend, about their adventures, the fun things they did or just the day to day. She was always so adoring and so proud. It was so special to hear her stories and the love she had would always shine as she told them. Her love and smile were truly infectious. Lorraine was such a beautiful woman inside and out. She will be forever loved and forever missed. With our deepest condolences, the Michon family

To see her face light up and those dimples you could swim in...We would just hold each other in a hug and not want to let each other go. She was the most beautiful person inside and out who lived to love. She constantly put her family before anything else. Her family was her life, especially her Elissa. Elissa was her world. When she would tell me stories about Elissa when she was little, her demeanor would completely change as if she just walked straight into a daydream. Her eyes danced and her laugh would soften to a giggle. Lorraine was pure love and she will be missed always.

My deepest condolences for the untimely loss of your dear mother Lorraine. She was a wonderful, sweet, kind and gentle person.
I met Lorraine fifteen years ago when we were both members of a movie group consisting of about ten friends. I have fond memories of our weekly movie viewing and dinner together at the Landmark Diner. Not only did we rate and discuss the film we had just seen but also shared our friendship and our lives. We laughed, debated and disagreed but we all agreed on our love for our grandchildren. Lorraine was a super Grandma!

As I enjoyed watching a video of a Charlie Palmieri concert in Central Park I went to long ago, I noticed the camera person seemed to be searching the crowd for someone . . . and it looks like they found her at 6:18. This makes me think the camera person must have been Junior, because there in the crowd, throwing up the peace sign, was Sweet Lorraine. (And if you watch carefully, you'll see my mother Mary in sunglasses & brother Ralphie right behind Lorraine. Sandy Sinclair too.) Thanks for the memories!

As Diana shared with me: "I Remember that Lorraine and I used to meet Ralphie on the bus, the 37 bus going to Prospect Heights High School, and we used to have so much FUN with Ralphie on the bus. The good old days!" My brother Ralphie (RIP) loved the ladies, but he especially loved Lorraine.

I was fortunate to have met Lorraine through her friendship with my wife, Barbara. Lorraine without question was the kindest, gentlelest, caring person I know. Her love for her family and grandchildren were boundless. Lorraine never complained about her illness and had the remarkable ability to connect with all those fortunate to have known her. Barbara and I loved her and will always keep her in our hearts. May her memory be a blessing to her family, grandchildren and all who were fortunate to have known her. Lorraine, we will forever miss you, but can never forget the incredibly special person you were.
God has a new Angel living in eternity with him.
With my deepest condolences to your lovely, loving family.
REST IN ETERNAL PEACE!

In 1971-72, as Junior and I grew closer, I spent some time in the Rios household. One night, I watched these young women getting ready to go out – probably dancing at the Cheetah or the St. George Hotel. They were so much fun, so beautiful and so happy – and that night, I got to see firsthand the joyful spirit that has been such a strong element of their decades-long friendship. You couldn’t help but love and admire them back then, and every day since. Lorraine will be dearly missed by us all.

As a little girl I was in awe of her grace and beauty, inside and out. Whether I was 10 or 60 years old, she always made me feel like her little sister. Her warmth and love was so genuine, you could feel it in every hug. Although my heart is heavy with her loss, I know Lorraine has ascended into the arms of our Loving Lord. Rest in eternal sleep sweet Lorraine.

Aw!!! May Allah/God be pleased with Lorraine. She was so kind, sweet and loving every time I had the pleasure of being around her. I met Lorraine when attending family gatherings with the family of Diana. When attending these family functions her face and presence was all I needed to know love was in the room. She conversed with me with love and care as if she knew me for years. I was blessed to experience Lorraine in bits throughout the years we saw each other and could feel the warmth of her spirit. One year she told me never to take any drugs for menopause - to tough it out because they would hurt me!! I have never taken those drugs and I am so happy she shared this with me. May she rest in peace forever. I will never forget her beauty, that beautiful hair!! That smile and her genuine spirit of love that emanated out of her beautiful face.

I and many coworkers had the privilege of working with Lorraine at the Manhasset Post Office for the last few years of her career. She was a sweet woman who came to work every day with a smile on her beautiful face and kindness in her soul. It was always a pleasure to be around her, and she was missed tremendously after her retirement. She always spoke of her family with a gleam in her eye, and tremendous pride and love in her heart and she always talked about how she couldn't wait to spend as much of her new found free time as she could with them. We are all deeply saddened to hear of her passing and we all send our sincerest condolences to her loving family and many friends.

Your strength, resilience, and unwavering belief in me have pushed me to be the best version of myself. Your ability to listen without judgment and offer wise counsel has been a guiding light in my life. Like a sister, you have always been there to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, and pick me up when I stumbled. It broke my heart to learn about Lorraine’s passing. She wasn't just my sister's BFF (best friend forever); she was family! Growing up, it was like having twin sisters, Diana and Lorraine, always there supporting each other and sharing life’s milestones. We all knew Lorraine as a sweet, kind, and loving person; but I also saw her as a tower of strength. She seemed to face whatever challenges came her way with courage and grace—and a nurturing resilience. Lorraine was the epitome of a gentle warrior; now she rests in peace.

Thirty years ago, I met Lorraine. With a warm hug and her beautiful smile, she welcomed me into my new dorm room and introduced me to Elissa, my college roommate. Elissa has been one of my closest friends for thirty years now. I have spent many, many hours talking with Lorraine and always enjoyed our chats. We shopped together at the Denny’s warehouse sale and she even came to the hospital to meet my daughter. I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family of Lorraine. May she rest in peace…Lorraine was a beautiful person inside and out. I can remember when we were children growing up in the Farragut houses and she befriended my best friend, Diana. I initially felt some kind of way, but Lorraine was so nice and pretty too, I didn’t mind it so much going forward.
Overall, Lorraine was a faithful and loving friend. Her presence will be greatly missed. Soon and very soon we all will be going to meet the “king”. Let us all live our lives as Lorraine did; pleasing and a blessing to all that were fortunate enough to be in her presence. Amen

My mom was grieving the loss of my father. Lorraine saw her sadness and invited my mom and me to celebrate her parents anniversary with lunch at Mohawk Mountain House. Lorraine was so much like her parents. Lorraine got her warm inviting smile from her father and her kindness and generosity from her mother. Lorraine‘s parents were beautiful people! I first had the pleasure meeting Lorraine many years ago through Diana and Sunday. I remember when first meeting her, she was so welcoming and kind.
I first met her as a teenager and I can remember how genuine she was in telling me of her friendship with Diana and about Sunday.
As the years went on, whenever I would see her, she would tell me about her family and how things were well. She was always so positive and would warm a room with her smile or share a kind word with those around her. Anyone that knew her, knew and understood the love she had for her family and those dearest to her.
Lorraine was a beautiful soul and her spirit will continue to live on through those whose life she touched. May her life continue to be celebrated and may those closest to her always cherish the fondest memories shared with her.
