Obituary of Gene S. Faucella
Gene Faucella, born on July 9, 1925, passed away on January 12, 2024 at the age of 98 leaving behind a legacy of honor, achievement, and love. As a distinguished officer in the US Army Air Corp during World War II, he courageously served his country as a Lieutenant Navigator on a B-24 Bomber.
Gene graduated from Fordham University in the Bronx and later became a trailblazer, opening the first Independently-Owned General Agency for Allstate Insurance in New York, forging a successful career.
He married the love of his life, Serina, and together they raised two wonderful boys, Gene and Peter. Family was at the core of his being, and his devotion to them was unwavering. Gene's impact extended beyond the home; he dedicated time to the North Hills Country Club, where he enjoyed golf and even served as the club's president.
His memory will forever endure through the lives he touched – his beloved wife, cherished children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Gene Faucella's legacy is a testament to a life well-lived, filled with love, service, and lasting accomplishments.
Visitation will be on Monday January 15th from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass , Tuesday , 10:15am at St. Marys Church in Manhasset with entombment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury.
