Alma Rose Kennedy was a brilliant and tenacious woman who kept her wonderful family together after the loss of her husband, John. She kept her spirits up amid her later years of breathing difficulties. She lived to welcome her great grandchild. Rose was also a devout Catholic who kept her faith intact till the end. She was a sharp conversationalist who could easily discuss politics and finance. Rose will certainly be missed by my family. .Love, Aunt Barbara, Nephews Kevin and Brian Kennedy

Mary and I wish to extend our deepest condolences to John/Jeanie, Martin, Michael and Thomas on the passing of their mother, Rose and to her sister Alice. We also want to extend our sympathy to the rest of the family. Like Mom, she was determined and steadfast to the end. She will be sorely missed.

Steadfast Loyalty, Tenacity and quiet strength are some of the characteristics, my sister, Rose demonstrated as she became daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma and aunt. Apparent in all areas of her life, these same traits were always evident in the practice of her Catholic faith. She had a full, loving and faith-filled time span – a worthwhile way to have a good life.
