Obituary of Eileen Mary Kilgallon

Eileen Mary Kilgallon (Nee Stundon) 68, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away on February 25, 2024 in North Hills, NY

Eileen was born in New York City to Patrick and Bridget Stundon on March 24, 1955.  Eileen grew up in Manhattan and went to high school at Cardinal Spellman and eventually earned a degree in nursing.  She worked as an ICU nurse in Lenox Hill Hospital for many years, before moving to Windham, NY with her husband William "Billy" Kilgallon, a former NYPD detective and investigator for the New York State Attorney Generals Office in Albany.  They both retired to Port St. Lucie, Florida to pursue their passion for golf full time.   Eileen was an avid golfer who won numerous golfing tournaments and awards.

Eileen is predeceased by her husband, Billy, and parents, Patrick & Bridget (Sheridan) Stundon.

Eileen leaves behind her sister, Catherine Reynolds of Manhasset, sister-in-law Margaret Mooney, of Sayville, NY and brother-in-law Jeff Reynolds of Manhasset.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews both here and in Ireland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in support of Gold Star and fallen first responder families located in Staten Island, NY.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to North Shore Hospital's 6th Floor Tower Nursing Unit, The Bristal in North Hills, NY,  Jennifer at Marian Care, Inc. and especially Marie McKeown for her help and support during these past few weeks.
