MICHAEL GADINIS

Michael Gadinis of Howard Beach, NY, born February 17, 1929, passed away on July 10, 2024 at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY. Michael was originally from Astoria, Queens before making his life in Howard Beach and raising his family with his wife, Audrey and their two children, Barbara and Nicholas. After his first wife’s passing, he married Sophia Gadinis and continued to live his happiest years in Lindenwood with his family and making lifelong friends for over 60 years while spending several months a year in Florida. Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Olga Gadinis, his first wife, Audrey Gadinis and his sister, Catherine Backos (Paul). He is survived by his wife Sophia also of Howard Beach, his children Barbara Strautman (Richard) of Port Washington, NY and Nicholas Gadinis (Sou) of New York city, his children, Andrea and Michael Gadinis and his cousin Michael Gioules (Soula) of Flushing, NY as well as his siter-in-law, Joan Stone of White Plains, NY. In addition, he is survived by beloved nieces and nephews.
