Frank J Pavone 1923-2024
- [ ] We are all here today to celebrate the life of a very special person who has touched the lives of all us. If he didn’t touch your life then you did not know Frank. Frank was a dedicated Husband to his beautiful wife Elda who I had the pleasure of her being my mother in law. He was also a passionate father to Robert, Julia, and my beautiful wife Deborah. His legacy lives on in all the grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many friends made along the way.

Frank had a life that I am envious of. From his early years when he was running the bakery with his mother, to serving our country in WWII. He married his sweetheart Elda and created a beautiful family that i am honored to be apart of. Settling in Flushing and making a career with NY life for 60 plus years is one of his amazing accomplishments he has done throughout his life.
There are so many memories i have with Frank from the Thanksgiving dinners, to Christmas celebrations, barbecues and much more. I have one memory that sticks out. I remember Dad and I taking a walk on Christmas Eve in the park and Dad had 2 cigars. I don’t smoke cigars but Dad is smoking so I am going to join in. We were in the park walking and it was a little too cold for the both of us so we strolled back to the house and continued to smoke our cigars in the Florida room and Deborah starting smelling the smoke and sent us back out in the cold.
Taking Dad out for Wednesday Pizza was always something we both looked forward to. We would make it a family affair and have Matthew and Deborah come too.
Dad had unconditional love to my children Matthew, Mia & Sam. Looking at a lot of dad’s photos from his youth he is a splitting image of Sam.
When i look back and reflect on you Dad, I wouldn’t be the man i am today if it wasn’t for you. You gave me a life , a family, and loved me as if i was your own. My love for you will be eternal Dad. Rest Easy Dad.
I love you Dad your Legacy will forever live on.
