Although I hadn’t seen “Tommy” in over 40-years, he called me his “basketball brother “ growing up in the same neighborhood in Plainview. His basketball skills were amazing and I followed his footsteps playing at St Dominic’s too. While in college he often returned to play with us and was always mentoring. He had a profound influence on me at an early age and I will forever be grateful for his influence. May he rest in peace and my thoughts and prayers are with his family. Rich Quinlan

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Tom ,after a prolonged illness . He always had a smile on his face , and had such a positive outlook on life and the goings on in the world. His exceptional sense of humor was also evident as we discussed
all all that was going on in Manhasset. Tom always made the LIRR ride interesting when we were commuting.
I enjoyed Tom on so many levels and enjoyed talking sports with him . I have heard stories of his athletic prowess in his earlier days and I'm fairly certain that competitive spirit and fight propelled him to battle this horrific disease.
I, along with his beloved family and so many friends in Manhasset will miss him. Our loss is Heaven's gain.

Tom was kind and generous and loved life. He made people feel at home as soon as you met him. He was the man that my daughter in law Stacey looked up to as a father. He touched so many lives and will truly be missed. RIP Tom your legacy lives on in your children and grandchildren and of course Janice. Much love and sympathy to all who knew him and his beautiful family. Chris and Caesar

Tom was a treasured friend- so kind. His love for his family was endless and his concern for his friends brightened the day. We laughed so much when he served as ‘ campaign manager’ for Dan about 35 years ago. Also, after my marriage of 45 years fell apart, Tom would ask me every time he saw me, ‘Are you Ok’? . He truly cared deeply about his friends and showed empathy and love to others. Deepest sympathy to his family. Tom will be missed. Rest in peace. Heaven gained a good human.

To the Milone Family and to Tom whom I know is in heaven and truly "in the arms of an angel."
Dear Tom:
I know you can hear me and I want you to know what a difference you have made in my life, in our lives. You always called me "coach," but really you are the greatest coach of them all. You have been an inspiraton to me and my family for over 30 years. I have never known a better human being and friend than Tom Milone. You are not only the greatest coach, but you have the greatest heart. You are a great father and a great husband and an extraordinary friend. You have been a difference in my life as well as in the lives of so many people. There is just no one in the world better than you. You have made us all better and you always filled us with joy and hope and love. Tonight, I send this back to you. We will always be with you Tom...for we too, in knowing you, have truly been "touched by an angel." Thank you Tom.
Love,
Coach Luisi and Frannie, Ollie and Beth, Julian and Cecelia

There are so many wonderful memories and stories I remember with you Tommy. The times when you let me use your company car to practice driving and take my drivers test in, or on Friday nights after work when you would pick my mother and I up to spend every weekend with Janice and the kids, or all the summers I spent with you at your house. I will always treasure all the times I spent with you getting bagels on Saturday mornings or cleaning the pool. Nothing ever bothered you. You never thought we were in the way. You were the most thoughtful, caring, and generous man in this world. I am going to miss sharing Fritos with you at work and the loving way you hugged me hello. My heart is broken. I love you always. Stacey

Was an honor and fortune for me to meet Tom.
Despite his great knowledge and professionalism he was always humble and ready to help.
The great love for his family was evident in his eyes and words.
We all lost a friend.
A big hug to his beloved family

We all lost a great friend, he remains in our minds as the gentleman who was always positive and ready to say words of comfort when things were not good.
I remember him as the man who dedicated all of his life to work, always prompt and efficient on the business.
Proud of his Family, he gave me important advices as a brother, he was really as a brother to me.
R.I.P.
your “brother”
