Obituary of Anne P. Amoruso
Anne P. Amoruso, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother died on August 5, 2024, at her home in Manhasset. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Dominick (Dan) Amoruso, her parents, John and Gerolama Pace and her sister, Jeannine Harvey. She is survived by her three children, Danise Riley (Mark), Daniel Amoruso (Kristine) and Marissa Wilder (Douglas). Her first grandson, Robert affectionally called her “Honey” when he was a toddler and the whole family has called her Honey ever since. Honey truly loved her children, her eight grandchildren, Robert Riley (Kylie), Michael Riley (Alexis), Anne Marin (Joseph), Kelly Whitting (Luke), Daniel Amoruso, Christopher Amoruso, Nicholas Amoruso, Joseph Amoruso and the latest addition, her great grandchild, Jack Riley. She was a loving, kind, intelligent and generous woman. Her husband, Dan was the love of her life and her family meant everything to her. After raising her family, she worked many years with her husband at their company, Amoruso Contracting Co. Anne was a devoted member of St. Mary’s Church in Manhasset for over 64 years and a long time member of North Hempstead Country Club. Honey’s presence amongst us will be deeply missed, but she will be in our hearts always.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Benedict Abbey, 252 Still River Road, Still River, MA 01451.
