Petracca Family, So sorry for your loss and the loss to anyone who knew Mike. He and my uncle, Billy Morrison, were great friends and I remember many a lacrosse Alumni game with Mike and countless times hanging out at Publicans and seeing Mike. He was always so nice to me and went out of his way to say hello and ask about my family. I haven't been in Manhasset in many years, but I got to see his son play lax down here in Raleigh a few times, and I was proud to say I knew his Dad. Rest in Peace Mike! Jimmy Cardillo

Dear Raissa, James, Gavin, and Brian, Words can't express the emptiness I feel right now, and I am so sorry for you. Your dad and husband was such a wonderful man. Reminded me of the Kipling Poem 'If', for he walked with Kings and kept the common touch....for to me, he was a giant. I will always have the fondest memories of 'Petracca-witz', My buddy. SO MANY GREAT MEMORIES WITH MICHAEL:) HE WOULD CALL ME AND SAY HEY "FEETS" WANT TO TAKE A DRIVE? I WOULD SAY, SURE, I AM ON MY WAY TO YOUR HOUSE!
