I am forever blessed to have shared my youthful days with Danielle in Rio. We were the Fab 4. Giving our dad's gray hair at an early age... Memories that will always make me smile. Not only did Danie pass through my life in our youthful years but to reconnect here in NY 30 years later is nothing short of amaznig. How lucky am I to have had her in my life twice, I will miss her emails and texts and crazy posts of hilarity and pooches. I will definately miss traveling down memory lane and making new memories but I will never forget her kindness and lightheartedness and will smile a little everyday in her memory. Because it is her smile that I will always remember and go to when I get sad. Thank you Danie for touching my life more than once. beijos e bom sonhos. L

Danielle was my friend. My compass in life, She was so loved by all.she met. I am a bit lost right now. I loved her so much. Not seeing her smile and her beautiful eyes ever again is overwhelming. Not having her to talk to is devastating. There are few people in life that will have such an impact on others. She was one of those of those few. She will always be in my thoughts and heart.

I remember Danielle when she was a little girl - I was just a kid taking black and white photos with my dad's camera at some house event. Through the years we spoke on the phone and saw each other at times. Though it didn't matter because through my parents Danielle was so special, so smart, so loved. Through her parents, Catherine and Ernest, she was everything - so beautiful! With it all and in our hearts we became and remain family. May Danielle rest always in God's mercy and peace and in the eternal presence of so much love.

I met Danielle over 11 years ago when I first moved to New York and we continued our friendship ever since. We shared many laughs together over the years, and although we didn't see each other as often as we might have liked, when we got together it was as if no time had passed at all. She was just sweet and kind and fun to be around, with a heart of gold. I also remember how much Danielle loved her parents and what a close relationship they shared. I do believe that beautiful Danielle is smiling down on all of us from heaven. My most heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to her parents. I am still in a bit of shock over this devastating news.

Danielle and I met at the New York Helmsley Hotel where we worked in the Sale Dept. i loved Danielle. She was a very quiet and extremely good hearted beautiful young girl. She and i use to talk mostly about our dogs and her past experiences. We all were so amazed at the fact that she spoke different languages. I will never forget one morning that she came in to the office and asked if i can do her makeup. She looked so beautiful. I am blessed to have met someone like you Danielle. This news is beyond comprehension. Danielle and I had such an understanding of each other from the first moment we spoke. We met through our Moms to find that we had so very much in common. What a beautiful soul that we all had such little time with. I'm blessed that I ever knew her and we became part of each others lives through many messages over the last couple of years. We were going to meet in the city in just a couple of months. We spoke about AZ, dogs and especially pugs all the time. My heart goes out to her parents. Danie said they were her best friends and she adored them tremendously. I know she was and always will be adored by many. There are no right words at this time. i worked with danielle together in switzerland at the hilton hotel. she was so a nice person. always a smile. when danielle left to new york i was sad but happy for her. she was happy to move closed to her parents. i never meet them, but danielle talk alot of mam and dad. i will never forget a great person. thank you danielle for share a little part of your life with us. in my heard i never ever forget you. love from switzerland. your friend and ex colleague belinda
