I was deeply saddened to learn of Ida's passing. She was an extraordinary individual whose warmth, intelligence, creativity and concern for others were legendary, as was her longtime commitment to the advancement and preservation of Italian, and, in particular, Friulian language and culture. Ida's presence truly graced out lives, and her legacy of service remains. My sincerest condolences to her beloved husband, Pino, who was a partner in all that she accomplished.
