Our dear Vinny;
One can only imagine the vast number of individual family members, friends, professional associates, military comrades, clergy, and so many others whose lives were so touched by your wonderful being. Touched is inadequate to describe the boundless, dedication, enthusiasm, energy, and love you always provided in the most genuine way. I could not even attempt to summarize the tremendous list of achievements and honors you have had throughout your life. You were and are immensely respected and loved.
My earliest memories as a toddler contain happy recollections of your dynamic personality and authenticity. Memories that continued growing over a lifetime of interaction with you full of learning, fun, companionship and adventure, along with some misfortunes and sadness. For most of my life and right to the end, I felt I had a second dad.
As you move into your eternal journey, we all have the faith to know you will always be with us, just on the other side of God’s universe. What a treasure for your family & friends to have all those wonderful years and memories we share together, and those that each of us uniquely possesses.
May God hold you in His arms and keep you until we meet again.
