Albert when we visited you in November we saw not only a continued good friend to son Daniel, but a hard working, proven success story. I was impressed with the job you landed, and the nice area of Philly you were living it. There was no doubt in mind that you and our family would grow old together and that you would have a prosperous life. The Hickey family will miss your company, your smiling face and creative thinking. Our dog Holly will miss you. You always got her too excited which was followed by a needed clean up!
Although you have left us in the physical sense, we know you and your spirit will forever be with us. Please watch over Daniel, who loves you so much as we all do. Linda Hickey

Albert- A child of Port Washington, and therefore a child of every parent whose son or daughter had the privilege of having you as a friend. We saw you last at a graduation party in our home this past May. Always polite, and a cherished friend of so many. I remember you at graduation, prom and the pictures posted by the boys after the yearly Pitt Halloween visits.
Rest in peace and know that your presence in the short time you were here has touched the lives of all your friends. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

Albert,
I only got to chat with you a few times, but each time we spoke, it was clear that you were one of the nicest people I have met in a long time. I lived in the apartment with Nancy before Albert & Laura moved in, and I was devastated to hear the news about the fire escape. Wishing the best for your family, friends, and loved ones-- thank you for all the kindness and warmth you offered my former roommates during the time you lived there.
Love
Anna

Albert,
You were always an individual that I enjoyed seeing. Upon arriving at my brother Chewi’s C-2 apartment, if you didn’t walk in the door within a few hours at most I would ask about you because your presence was a gift. You are unequivocally one of those people who made a positive lasting first impression (second, third, and so on). Managing to do that by simply crossing paths with someone is a remarkable testament to the wonderful person you were. I am lucky to be one of those people you crossed paths with. Your early departure has impacted my brother in a way that I have never seen but the memory of your unwavering friendship is slowly filling his void. The memories that he holds from Penn State, to NYC Flash Mobs, Punta Cana, Louis CK and everything in between will be forever cherished. A true, unique, irreplaceable friend and inimitable individual, your wake has left a positive impact on myself, my family, and my brother especially. For that I am forever grateful. Rest peacefully.

I apologize to the family for being the first to comment, as I certainly am not someone who knew him for years and years. I am; however, a coworker of his for the last several months. From day one, this cocky, yet charismatic "kid" comes into JPMorgan like he owns the place. While at first, I admittedly didn't think he'd last very long, I quickly saw what a mind he had. He was genuinely a nice person to go along with it. He loved to joke and laugh at any moment in time. It takes a lot to make me burst out laughing, and he seemed to have me doing it on a regular basis. I will truly miss his presence at work and the few times we hung out outside of it. Albert, I really hope you are at peace. And, to the family, I offer my sincerest condolences. I cannot even begin to imagine the loss of a child. But, stay strong - you know Albert is up there taking heaven by storm.
Warmest Regards & Condolences,
Thomas Mehrer
