My condolences to the entire family & may God rest Ray's soul. I meet Ray Rice & his family in the 1970's when I worked in town with a close friend of mine named Dave who lived on the same street as the Rice's. We painted & did odd jobs at their Manhasset home, at the Green Mountain house in Vermont & their property in Setauket. Ray & Bobbie invited me to go to the Green Mountain house on many occasions under their work a day play a day program. I have some very fond memories of those carefree days. I went on my first snowmobile/snow machine ride there, went on day trips to Mt. Snow skiing, hiked in the woods etc. Ray, Bobbie and his daughters were very good to me. I miss the adventures that I was involved in with the Rice Family. I last saw one of the Rice's when I stopped in to see Ginger at the University of Vermont. Since that time I have recalled many fond memories of my time with the Rice's.
