Obituary of Jane Roestenberg

Johanna “Jane” Roestenberg of Boca Raton passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 17, 2013. Jane was born in Holland on October 13, 1924, the daughter of Jerome and Theodora Goffin. She met and married the love of her life, Adrian Roestenberg. Johanna and Adrian left Holland in 1959; they settled in New York and raised their two sons. Jane had a very intelligent mind; she was very interested in different languages and cultures. She also possessed a vast knowledge of both American and European History; music was another life-long passion. The Roestenberg’s eventually moved to Boca Raton in 1987, where they were active in their community and events at Ascension Catholic Church. Jane was a loving and devoted wife, celebrating 61 years of marriage to Adrian. She also leaves behind son Jerome and his wife Toni; and son Peter Roestenberg; her cherished grandchildren: Justin, Jesse, Kristin, Jerry and Michael; and great-grandson Mason. Jane was a devout Catholic; her family takes comfort in knowing she is happy in the presence of the Lord as she continues to watch over her family from above.
