My late Dad, Sergio grew up on 33rd St. right near John and his family, going to The Imperial where his family had a great place and later the BEST place, Mayfair Restaurant--but most of all John Mizzaro--a best friend to my parents along with his loving wife, Nancy. We remember how she drove to the Hamptons to get the fish for the delicious entrees at Mayfair! Romeo, his beloved brother behind the bar--sharing stories, laughs. It was better than "Cheers" on TV. Someone we will NEVER FORGET--remembering the laughs, the great manner, the courage through the great suffering--as Christ; through these later years--but never complaining. When we last spent time together he said to me, "Never give up the fight"--he lived that way. Love you John--that will never die!! Our hearts, sympathy and prayers go to you, Nancy, Romeo, Robert, Linda & all your loving family.
