I had been Bob's Cornell roommate Junior year and the only ones to visit one of my away games in Senior year Sprint Football were Whitey and Pauline. They drove to Princeton on a Friday night, I was both surpised and very touched to look over and see his smile. What a nice man.

Everyone who ever met Whitey has a memory and a story to share;actually more than one as I think about it. He and Pauline created a wonderful family who will live to honor him forever.
