Danny, Melissa, and Kelsey,
Please accept our heart felt condolences for your loss. All day, I kept remembering those days at St. Mary's after school, the car rides (usually packed with as many kids who could fit) in the summer to West End II, those crazy nights at Kilmead's and Publicans with Sue and the gang, and the late night (usually early morning drives) to the Hamptons when the bars had closed and we were "not quite ready to go home yet!" Sue was always a part of them. These memories can never be replaced, and I will hold on to them forever! I will keep Sue and your family in my prayers.
Peace and goodness always,
Ken, Scarlet, Brayton, and Shayler Smyrk

Dan - Chris and I send our heartfelt condolences to you and your family. Sue was a treasure, and such a big part of our younger days – growing up together during our time in high school and the years that followed. Our group of boys and girls spent countless days at the beach and evenings socializing, and Sue was often the center of the fun, laughing and spreading happiness. We loved our card games, and the trademark Sue line during Eights was “Fours are Nothing” (with a hand over one eye), a tribute to the question she had asked more than once. I can see her smile, which will always be remembered along with her warmth and genuine caring for those she loved. God bless you Sue.

I send my prayers to the family and ask the Lord to embrace Sue as she joins her family members already at his side. May her love and goodness be the strength you draw upon in your difficult times ahead. She was loved by many while in this world and that love will go on in many hearts. God speed Sue.

I was lucky enough to be a cousin to Sue. We were born 5 days apart way back in the summer of 1958. She was my first girlfriend. Cousins make the best of friends! Although our friendship ebbed and flowed over the years we were always happy to hear from each other and loved a long visit. As our children grew older it made us both so happy to see them form a friendship similar to ours. Sue was a vibrant woman full of generosity and love! If you measure success by the people you touched and loved well Suzy Q was a multimillionaire! She faced her illness with dignity and grace. No matter how many years pass I will never forget her laugh and her whistle. Rest In Peace my wonderful friend. I pray daily for her wonderful husband Dan and their beautiful daughters, Melissa and Kelsey.

I am so sorry for your loss. Some things are not fair. I didn't know Susan well, but every time I saw her around the Club she was so upbeat and full of smiles. Then we took bridge lessons at the same time, and she put her whole self into it. She just radiated warmth and joy of living. She will be missed.

Dan, Melissa, Kelsea, and Maryann,
We are all so saddened by this great loss. Susan always made everyone smile, feel loved, and one always knew the sentiments where real. We were lucky enough to have shared many nice memories with you from traveling, cherished time spent poolside, and cocktails at the dock bar. We watched your beautiful girls grow up to be beautiful women. I always admired the family commitment. Susan always spoke of her girls with great pride. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Our love for Susan will live on in our hearts and our love and friendship will continue with Susan’s beautiful family

Dan, Melissa and Kelsey,
We are saddened to hear about the passing of Sue. Sue was a special person in so many ways. We had great times and so many laughs over the years, but I am especially grateful for her compassion and support that she provided Deirdre through Deirdre's similar struggle. Sue always was there for us.
I wish you all strength and courage as you get through this. All the best to your family.
