John and Family, We were very sad to hear of Maureen's passing. Despite the fact we knew she was very ill, it's still difficult to accept the fact that she's no longer here. She was a wonderful Aunt. Some of my earliest (and fondest) memories are from when John and Maureen visited Bradford, and we visited you in Manhasset and Sag Harbor. Michele and Philip loved her as well, Philip truly enjoyed our visits to Sag Harbor in recent years since he got the chance to visit with Maureen and the rest of the family. We'll miss her, but she'll live on in our memories, thoughts, and prayers. We'll try to visit John and the rest of you when the weather and our schedules permit. My deepest sympathy to the Kenlon Family....as you know.... I lived next door to you....we had such a great childhood playing in our back yards.... when none of us had fences....we had a swing set and a huge slide....we created a baseball field and of course the Koch family built that awesome tree house in one weekend....same family that built the World Trade Center....sometimes we had 20 kids running around and your Mom never complained... although a baseball might have broken a window or two.... I have such wonderful memories of all of us playing together.... I just think about my childhood every day.....and.... I feel that we were good neighbors and friends....may God watch over your Mom in heaven....

Some of my fondest childhood memories are of your family and your mom, "Aunt" Maureen. I am so sorry that you have had to say "good bye ". I know that your memories of her will live forever. In our wedding video when the microphone was given to Maureen her beautiful face lite up and with pure genuine joy she said "Their name is Valentine because their hearts are filled with love" I have never forgotten that and over the many years I have heard it, in her voice, in my head so often. Her heart was filled with so much love and kindness. She was a truly lovely person and we feel blessed to have known her. We are so deeply sorry for your loss. We will pray for God to help you find comfort and strength as you navigate through the pain of this tremendous loss. You all have such an amazing angel to now be looking over you.
