Obituary of Kenneth R. Bluhm

Kenneth Bluhm passed away unexpectedly from a sudden illness at age 63 on January 27, 2022 with his devoted wife, Nancy, and loving children by his side. Ken and Nancy grew up in Manhasset and raised their family there before moving to Glen Head in 2008. He worked for the New York City District Council of Carpenters for 30 years, first as a carpenter and then as a business agent. Ken was predeceased by his daughter, Katie, in 2010. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children - Michael (Kate) , Tommy, and Margaret Welles (Tim). He was also a beloved Opa to his grandsons, Dean and Thomas. Ken was a wonderful father, a loving husband, a loyal friend, and the hardest worker that any of us have ever known. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. Friends and family may pay their respects to the Bluhm family on Monday, January 31st from 7-9pm at Fairchild Sons at 1570 Northern Blvd. Manhasset, NY 11030.
