Rosie was a part of the best years of my life- the Bayside High School football years! While she and I lost touch I remained extremely close with her sister Nina and have been and will remain here as a support for Nina,her girls, and the whole family. Our beautiful friend will be sorely missed.
And an example of that infectious smile and how she lit up a room was when on a business trip to the Bahamas, my husband had hosted a dinner party that included Anthony and Rose where I met the both of them. A day or so later, the resort was having a late dessert venue where I saw Rose walk in with Anthony and right away acknowledged her by name. She looked up, looked at me and smiled. From then on, we became true friends and spent more time on that rip and others including Aruba- the best times, dinner dates, holiday parties, and Roses beautiful 50th birthday party. Peter and I were so honored and blessed to have known her. We love you Anthony, Steven and Sarina. She was proud of you all

I first met Rose at the Wood School. She and I hit it off immediately. We became lifelong friends. After graduation we worked near each other in Manhattan and would meet halfway to eat lunch, talk and laugh. Even after I met my husband and moved to Chicago, we continued to talk and share a friendship that not even the miles between us could break. As we had our kids, and the years went on, we still made time to talk and meet up either when I came home back East or she came to Chicago to visit me and my family.
She was beautiful inside and out and lit up a room with her big smile and infectious laughter. I will always keep those beautiful memories we shared very close to my heart. I will miss her terribly. Until we meet again, Rest in sweet peace my dear friend. Love Giovanna
