Any encounter with Aunt Miriam was met with a smile, a hello, a genuine inquiry for your news, enthusiastic stories and updates about ALL the Richardsons and Harveys (kids, grandkids, great grandkids, inlaws), and something fun about the little dog - or the big! All of this joyful exchange, every story beloved, was most likely preceded and followed by a cup of tea and an invitation to the table or a flip through a photo album. Miriam made everyone feel at home. The funny thing is, that all of you who call her family - have a bit of Miriam in you, too (you are all special people!). Grateful for her marriage, sisterhood, family, and life. For all the aunt, uncle, cousin stories Brian related from his childhood, and that our boys have memories of all the NY family of their own. Peace be with you.

It was my pleasure to meet Miriam the past two summers while visiting Jim, my friend of the past 40 years. Miriam was an absolute delight, great big smile and warmth that can not be imitated. Miriam was the essence of graciousness & hospitality when I visited her home in 2015. She exuded a generosity of Spirit that was evidenced in her home and in her family gatherings. Her grandchildren adored her and she was an inspiration to them and all who knew her. Rest In Peace Miriam
