I was first introduced to Heather and JD 5-6 years ago but our very good mutual friends. My wife Nikki was pregnant with our first child Lily and Heather was pregnant with their first Henry. We all immediately clicked and started a close friendship from that day forward. Experiencing the growing pains of new parents together. This created an incredible friendship and bond. As the years went on more children arrived and we were able to share the joy of our growing families together. When Hunter was born we were so excited to meet him. We thought Heather and JD were crazy having 3 kids under 5. But with crazy comes crazy love and crazy fun! One of, if not the first time I met Hunter, we had an immediate little bond. He reached out to me to hold him, to the surprise of his mom and dad. I fell in love with that little boy right there, because of how loved I felt that he wanted me just to hold him. He looked at me, touched my face, and was comfortable. It was a small moment at the time, but now feels larger then life. That 18 month old boy made me, a grown man feel incredibly special. And I could not wait to see the relationship that we formed in the future. But the way he made me and so many others de was noticed by a higher power, and knew this had to be shared with the world. Hunter was take from us, but I believe it was to help spread that incredible, innocent, loving special feeling, to become a true angel. An angel as he was on earth. I didn’t get to spend anywhere close to a lot of time with him but I’ll be impacted forever. RIP Hunter , we will love you and honor you eternally

I never had an opportunity to actually meet Hunter. His Grandpa Anthony shared photos with me and several friends.Reading his obituary brought me to tears. My heart hurts as I write this but as I think of baby Hunter’s sweet little face it gives me some type of peace. He was the cutest little boy, I’ll never forget those big beautiful eyes or the way you used to smile at me when I would see you or I would call your name “baby Huntie”. My last memory of you will always be that picture of you playing so peacefully by the sand table ❤️. I thank God we met you and you will forever live in our hearts and memories. With a heavy heart, I bear the loss of my beloved nephew Hunter. His gentle spirit radiated love and kindness while his adventurous nature filled our lives with laughter. A fond memory that warms this somber moment is my first meeting with him: holding him close, feeding him, clasping his tiny hands. While I may not have been a consistent presence in Hunter's life, I was fortunate enough to witness some of his interactions with his cousins. His radiant smile is etched into my memory, and I'm certain none of us will ever be able to forget it.
