Obituary of Hunter Joseph Honan

Please share a memory of Hunter to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Hunter Joseph Honan was born on December 20th, 2021 to Joseph Diamante Honan and Heather Honan (Celebre). He came into this world on Christmas week and was the best present their family could receive. Hunter has two older siblings, Henry (5) and Hazel (3) who love him endlessly. They were a unit, and their laughs were so powerful and genuine together that they will surely live on forever. The family of five has an extremely tight relationship and deep connection. Hunter loved to sing, dance, and eat! He made the entire family laugh. He was always running around and messing with his brother and sister with the goal to make them smile and laugh.

Hunter especially loves to be with his family, and has cousins Charlotte, Madeline, Liam, Livia, Rosie, Jack, Amelia, Cash, and Julien. Hunter loves his grandpa Anthony, grandma Debbie, Grandpa Joe, Grandma Diamond, and Mia. Hunter was always so excited to be with his Aunt Courtney, Aunt Candace, Uncle Ryan, Uncle James, Aunt Lauren and Uncle John. He has an amazing Godmother, Caitlin, and made sure to make it to her big life events. His nanny, Maria, was his second mom and he loves her immensely. He also loves all of his neighbor-friends and close family friends.

Hunter was the light of the family and God chose him because of his pure soul and gentle heart— he just loved to make people laugh. He was a happy boy. Hunter lived a special life all in only 19-months, traveling with his family to tropical islands, Disney World, and upstate to the Catskills. He spent his last weekend at Legoland having the time of his life. He came home, ate a big dinner of all of his favorites, gave double kisses to his mom and dad, went to bed and closed his eyes forever. As his sister said, he is on the angel plane. We will honor and cherish him forever. Please rest his soul. Mommy and daddy will be with him one day. It’s not good-bye, because he is with us all every day, in every way, forever.
