The second picture (from Camp, of course) is truly ancient history, going back to the early 70's. Damian Melvin is gone, so is Bill McCluskey, and now Henry. As the Book of Job (and Herman Melville in Moby Dick) remind, "I only am escaped alone to tell thee," so I will. Whatever "Happenings" might happen at Camp now will never compare to those of old! Thank God those pine walls of "The Lounge" can't talk! Thanks for such wonderful memories, Brothers! May you be with God forever!

Brother Henry and I became friends almost 40 years ago. It started as we worked side by side on the waterfront staff at Camp Marist. Henry was the assistant waterfront director and I was a fresh-faced counselor from Queens. We laughed and talked every day and even had the same Marist Brother as our Biology teacher at Archbishop Molloy HS ... 15 years between us! Henry was an extremely smart and loving friend. He could be stubborn and picky but that made him Henry! He was a big support for me at times and hopefully I was for him. I will miss him dearly.

I have known Henry for over 50 years from Camp Marist I will miss him dearly. One last photo I took of him and Br Ken Marino years ago at Camp. My condolences to you all RIP HENRY
