Obituary of Simeon Soterakis

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Simeon "Sam" Soterakis.

Sam, a respected senior attorney, and cherished family man, passedpeacefully, on November 10th, 2023, at his home in Old Brookville, NY. He was 79. Sam is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 51 years, Linda; his daughters, Alexis and Elena, his son-in-law, Anthony Dunlap, his cherished granddaughters, Olivia and Eleanor, and his loving brother Dr. Jack Soterakis.

His humor, love of the cinema, and indomitable spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Sam's legacy as a dedicated legal professional and generous individual will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His commitment to justice and his unwavering support for his colleagues have left an indelible mark on the legal community.

A memorial service to celebrate Sam's life will be held on Thursday, November 16th, at Fairchild Sons Funeral Home, 1570 Northern Blvd, Manhasset, NY 11030, from4 PM to 8 PM. We welcome friends, colleagues, and those whose lives were touched by Sam to join us in honoring his memory.

The Soterakis family, asks that donations be made in Sam's honor to the St. FrancisHospital & Heart Center, where he received exceptional care, which brought greatcomfort to his family.
