I am Cassie, Megan and James postpartum doula. I felt so lucky that they chose me not once but twice to support their beautiful boys during the postpartum period. I would have little chats with James usually in the morning before I'd leave to update him how the night went. He was a very loving, wonderful, supportive dad and husband. He was funny, a bit quirky at times, super smart and always super nice to me. You could just tell how much he loved and adored Megan. I'd always tell Megan, "James is a good dad and husband, he really loves you. Not all dads are as hands on and have a difficult time bonding in the beginning. James jumped right into fatherhood. I especially remember the first night with Noah, and we were laughing trying to put together the pack and play lol. I love this family dearly and my heart especially breaks for all James is leaving behind. I will do my best to always be there for Megan who is one of the strongest, beautiful, kindest ,boss moms I've had the privilege of knowing. I love you guys and words can't express how sorry I am.
