Maria would always message me that I’m such a great mom and offered words of encouragement. She is so kindhearted. She is a true angel. I will miss those messages and cherish the memories.
Sincerely,
Eva Ng’ongolo

Maria always said it the way it was. So, as I give honor to her memory, I too am listing her attributes with total sincerity, and with a heavy heart, as she will be missed so much. Maria: Smart, dedicated, funny, honest, forthright, passionate, generous, talented, and multi-faceted. “A True Renaissance Woman” in every aspect of her being. Merlin and I are sending loving support to her special family and to all who mourn her loss.

I had known Maria for over 30+years. We worked together at Town and Country and then Douglas Elliman. I knew her husband and children and we were also personal friends. She was always fun to be around and an excellent Real Estate agent. It seemed as though she knew everyone in our area. I can understand why. She was smart, witty and knew her business from A-Z. She was a loving wife to her husband Robert and a wonderful mother to her children Chris and Mia. The next love of her life was her grandson whom she was so proud of. We were also 2 proud Italians. I will miss her very much. The office has lost a truly lovely person.

How much she loved her grandson Stefano how proud she was I wish you were my grandma.

Maria was one of the nicest people. Whenever we had the opportunity to talk it wasn’t just about business. She added personality and joy, I always left smiling. Maria, I will pray for you and your family and I’m blessed to have had the pleasure of your company. Rest in peace

Just before Christmas I tried tonprank called Maria, but she still had my number in her address book. I asked her if she had any figs she could spare. She said David? My fig tree is dead! The prank was on me.
We had not talked in years, and picked up right where we left off and she invited me out to visit. That is the sign of a true friend!
Remember, you may not drive a great big Cadillac. You may not have a car at all. But be thankful for what you’ve got ! Diamond in the back sunroof top TV antenna in the back, digging the scene with a gangster lean!
We have lost a legend my friends. Maria you always were full of fun and laughter. I hear there’s a snow storm brewing on Saturday ? It won’t stop me from coming to see you I’m so glad I called her this year!
Let’s hope that fig tree survives!

Maria and I were co-workers in this industry for over 35 years. She was meticulous in her love of fashion, jewelry, design and presenting each new home to the public in the most pristine condition.
Her love and pride in her family-her husband, her children, her grandson was evident in any conversation we had.
She was funny, very bright and a joy to be around.
Rest in Peace, Maria.
You will be greatly missed.
Love,
Carol Arnold
