There are examples that we hear all the time of “The Greatest Generation” and in one word that would be BUD MORRIS.
Bud was devoted to everyone. My husband Tom and I were “new comers” in Bud’s life as we met when Tom joined the “Romeos at St. Francis Hospital.” They became fast friends and enjoyed their team: The Women’s Basketball Team of the University of Connecticut.
Bud was a hero for his country and wore his US Army Airborne pin proudly all the time. He was a hero for his family, whom he cherished beyond measure. He was hero for his community and for everyone he met in life. He certainly was a hero for me.
May the Lord bless you Bud and give you peace, next to Rita, for all time.
