I met Arlene when I started going to Angelo's for my Saturday morning manicures. We bonded over plants and gardening. She chastised me for cutting my own bangs and offered to cut them any time I needed a trim. We went from bangs to full haircuts. Arlene was the best hair cutter I ever had. She read my mind before I said could say anything. My husband also starting going to Arlene. She was meticulous. She will be missed. She was caring and generous. May her memory be a blessing.

My cousin Arlene, I have no words to fully express how I am feeling at this moment. We grew up together. So many years, so many memories. I just saw you a month ago when we planted the flowers. How much you looked forward to planting the flowers, and how you took care of them. I will remember you as a loving and caring person. So kind and thoughtful and how you loved life. We have always loved hanging out with Arlene at family gatherings. One of our favorite moments will always be helping Arlene set up the grill, clean, and cook the delicious clams as a team effort. This is an amazing memory of the clams she was always known for. Arlene was an amazing woman who would welcome us all with her loving and open arms and entertain us with her wonderful conversations as the night winded down by the fire pit.
