Obituary of Arlene D'Alessandro
Arlene D’Alessandro, cherished sister, aunt, and friend to many, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 21, 2024. Arlene was the beloved daughter of the late Anthony and Helen D’Alessandro whom she loved dearly and has now joined them in heaven. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, humor, and strength that touched the lives of all who knew her.
Arlene was a resident of Port Washington, NY for over 38 years until she passed. She worked as a hairstylist and truly loved doing so. She took pride in her work and befriended everyone that sat in her chair. Her talent came through as well as her loving personality. She didn’t just enjoy people; she opened her heart to become aware of how she could help others and truly appreciated so many who helped her as well. She was a shining light.
Arlene will be dearly missed by her brothers Scott and Glenn D’Alessandro, sister in-laws Laurie and Liz D’Alessandro, nieces Kim and Jenna D’Alessandro and nephews Anthony and James D’Alessandro, along with her extended family and wonderful friends. Her memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Visitation at The Fairchild Chapel, 1570 Northern Blvd., Manhasset, NY on Thursday, June 27th, from 3:00pm – 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass, is on Friday, June 28th at 9:30 am, at St. Peter of Alcantara Church, Port Washington, NY.
