Aunt Maddy... I'm not sure where to begin. She always had a smile and a treat. Her calm demeanor was literally always what I needed. I loved sitting next to her at family gatherings and just chatting away. You could talk to her about anything. She was really very special.

I will miss your smile and your sense of humor, I will miss watching Father Brown and all the lifetime movies with you but most of all I will miss your company and just spending time with you . Imagine how amazing it would be to grow up practically next door to your godmother, (godfather and cousins). Well-it was amazing and a precious gift! Aunt Maddy always made me feel special and loved. I’m grateful for her sense of humor, wisdom, strength, and encouragement (and many delicious meals). She has always been a blessing in my life and I will forever cherish my memories of our times together.

MADELINE- known as aunt Maddy and a second mother to my sisters and I. We had the privilege and honor of growing up on the same block and were blessed by the sunshine, love, and compassion that aunt Maddy spread to whomever she met making each person feel special and important. A woman of substance, inspiration, courage, wisdom, humility and humor. She was a steady grounding source of strength through all life’s twists and turns. Carmel apples, fried chicken, homemade sour cream coffee birthday cakes are just some of her specialties. She will be treasured forever. Now she dances with her beloved Vinny.

Madeline was my next door neighbor growing up. She was a very pleasant person and easy to get along with. As a child my self and sister played with her children. Was invited into her home and treated like family. (In some far place. Where all the lovely things on earth are born. The gods no longer weep. She has returned to them. And what she brings we loose. I remember Madeline as a great lady and "mother" to all the boys who played touch football on the street outside their house. Later on, she became famous for her chocolate covered strawberries and sesame cookies. I'll always remember her happy demeanor, and will miss her greatly.
