My condolences to the Shackel clan. I have great memories of fishing with Walter and my Dad out in Aquebogue. My Dad and Walter were quite the pair and had a long and cherished friendship. Was amazed at how much trouble 2 seniors could get into in - I would show up and they would be nursing bruises and cuts from their latest adventure. Whether it was crabbing, clamming, or fishing - they loved the water and had many a seafood feast. I somehow picture a fishing hole in heaven with 2 lines in the water and 2 great men holding the poles. Peace.
